From Business Affairs to Creative Producer, Lesli Masoner utilizes her multi-faceted experience in every aspect of Pureplay's business. A rare third generation Southern California native, she manages company operations and post production; often times acting as a hands-on post producer for Pureplay’s most challenging projects.
Prior to co-creating Pureplay, Lesli was an entertainment attorney and producer, working with many of the industry’s top actors, producers and studios for nearly three decades. Lesli has developed and produced feature films, televisions shows, and an award-winning short film. This makes her uniquely qualified to understand the intersection of business and creative and brings a major advantage to clients in a quickly–evolving media landscape when packaging projects, talent or IP, navigating union guidelines, or negotiating co-productions and agency partnerships.
Boston-bred Dan McClung manages Pureplay’s day-to-day operations and co- develops original content for film, television and new media projects. He also directly oversees all of the company’s physical production.
Prior to co-creating Pureplay, Dan served as Director of Video Production for Big Boots Studios (digital arm of T Group) where he was responsible for initiating and overseeing the completion of original and branded content. Prior to Big Boots, Dan worked in producer positions for both Relativity Digital Studios and Berman Braun (now known as Whalerock Industries) where he managed the companies’ partnerships with Evian, Lexus, Absolut, Aol, MSN, and YouTube-funded original channels. During his tenure at Berman Braun, Dan built the internal infrastructure to support the firm’s video production team. As an independent producer, Dan has executed several features, award-winning short films, and has worked with many prolific brand clients including IKEA, Lenovo, Hasbro, Miller Lite, Mercedes, Edmunds, and Vans Warped Tour.
